Question 68 FB Conv - Door Jam Vent Louver?

Hello, just curious if my 68 FB Conv should have Door Jam Vent Louvers (RFI300) in the rear quarters. Quarters were replaces with OE back in the late 80's but they don't have the Door Jam Vent Louvers. The resto was never finished since the quarters were put on (car sitting in garage past couple decades) and I want to have the body shop install them if it should have been equipped before painting. This is an orig 68 FB 350ci 2bbl with 2-spd Auto, AC.
Thanks in advance!

my early '68 convertible Firebird does not have vent louvers. Typical of early convertibles, don't know when it started (date wise). Cammer would know for sure.

The '68 Convertible that I just finished and sold had them. Don't know the manufacture date.

Could it have to do with which plant assembled the car?
