Default 1977 Firebird decoding HELP!!!!

Hi friends
just bought this car ...
Can anybody help me to decode the door sticker?

1977 Firebird Esprit built at Norwood Ohio with an Olds 350 for the engine if the engine letter is "R". Hard to tell as it is difficult to read. A pic of the trim tag would reveal more info about the car also.

Default decoding

here`s a pic of the engine ... Olds ?? Hope not ..looks like it have an oil filler neck in front of engine

Yes, Oldsmobile engines have the oil fill just as it is in the picture. If the 5th digit of the VIN is "R", then the car was built with a 5.7 liter or 350 ci engine. Pontiac and Chev have the oil fill in the valve cover.

What`s going on with these Olds engines ... ?

1977 was when GM started swapping engines between makes. My dad ordered a brand new Pontiac station wagon in 1977 and he ordered it with the Olds 350. Later on, he wished he had gotten the Pontiac 400 instead, but the Olds engine never gave him a problem.
