solenoid idle stop no ignition power on
HI, i have an Firebird 1977 350 Olds (403) and the quadrajet 4bbl idle solenoid does not work ...
The car starts great ...nice cold idle ..after a few minutes it idle goes down and i can`t hold the hot idle ..the car aleways fails ;( I checked all the vacuum connection..done all new (California 350 403 ) TVS and all the things ..all correct ..i installed an new EGR ...worksfine, too .. After inspection the engine i saw the the stop idle solenoid does not work if i do the ignition on .... i tested with my batterie + to the solenoid cable and it works but no power on the green cable with the black stripe.. Any idea??? Thx Bjoern

Firebird California 350 Olds
Engine fails at hot idle ...anything wrong connected ??
Or an idle stop solenoid problem? ...No ignition power power on the solenoid... its an AC car ..
