Default Oldsmobile 1977 350 403 Vacuum switch TVS question

HI, I have an 350 Olds in my 77 California Fireibrd ..same like the 403
Question: I like to replace this TVS ..its at driver side front intake and has originally an green top.
I bought at Rockauto an new one and received an blue TVS ...is that the correct part or is it a wrong TVS ..green blue black ..what`S the differences ?

Different vacuum pressures used on different models, like most things all grouped together and have a generic replacement part for all but not exact. I dont recall the green topped one before, may already have been replaced unless has Delco part numbers. The GM parts manuals would list what switches were used, but the replacements are often different.

The only difference in most of the TVS switches was at what tempature they would allow vacuum to flow through switch. A lot of the time you can find a stamp marking with the tempature and when it will open. The California cars came with a lot of TVS switches for emmision purposes. If you dont need to worry about that in Germany then you can by pass many of the switches on the intake manifold. The other in one in air cleaner helps with cold engine starts

Default 1977 Trans AM Firebird Olds 350 403 TVS

Crazy, but finally found the correct TVS ...
This one for Firebird with Chevy engine is exactly the correct one with 120 stamped in and fits in the intake hole ...forget the others on rockauto or anywhere else are offering ..the thread connot fits ...
The H2943 is correct ...
