Whenever I see that aircraft I remember my father. He always called the DC3 and the military's version, the C47, the Gooney Bird.

Looks cool but interior room wouldn’t be great. The round fuselage shape costs space.

Re: space issue... modern RVers like to take half their possessions with them.

Those of us who own the old RVs like GMC, FMC, Corvair TransVan, Chrysler powered Travco and Clark Cortez are OK with being minimalists. When your RV is basically a large luxury car merged with a tiny condo, you don't need a "toad". To me they are "Highway Star" vehicles.

The GMC above and that Dean Jeffries creation are hideous to me as I'm not an off-roader. To each his own.
