I thought it was going to be hot here in NC...triple digits is a bit much for me.

That's miserable hot. It was probably mid-80's here today and I was uncomfortable.

Low 90°’s here last few days but 100°ouch I almost took a job in Mississippi back in 2008 and went down in July to work in the plant for a week everyday it was over 100° that stopped me from even thinking about taking that job. That week was like the worst summer we have ever had here in Ohio and that was just another summer week for them.

These temps are rare for this time of year. We usually don't hit 100 until late June or early July and then it is only for a few days.

I'll take dealing with snow for a few months over dealing with hot weather like that.

I can't imagine what that's like with the humidity down there. Well, yes I can - I've been in Mississippi, Florida, etc. in the summer.

It's probably what living in Thailand feels like....

Unusually cool and wet spring here in North Texas. I'm ready for the heat and sun.

I run my irrigation system every three days. Thankfully I am on a private well so all I have to pay is for the electricity to run the well pump.

Love it!

The hotter the better! If it is under 60, I would prefer to hibernate!

God bless

I'm with Bill. Except I hibernate below 80. My body temp is 98.6. Ambient temps below that are cold.

Sadly, my wife hated Fla heat so now I'm in the GA mountains. Always cold here.

On a micro level, when the temp goes down, water molecules slow down. They move faster when temps go up. My body is 60% water. I can't get anything done when most of the molecules in my body slow to a crawl.

Bring on summer!
