Looking for fenders for my '69. Are they all the same?
I'm looking for a set of replacement fenders for my '69 Bird, because I got it with a set of fiberglass front fenders. I'm having no luck finding any locally (western NY). Is there a difference between Auto Metal Direct, Goodmark, Dynacorn or OER? I see the prices can vary by as much as $100 each.. so I was curious. I saw a post from a few years ago.. have things improved?

Can't answer on the fenders, but I bought convertible quarters last year, and one brand was absolutely incorrect on the wheel lip transition.
I drove to AMD and Year One and saw the difference, bought the ones AMD carried. What struck me as odd was the 69 Camaro convertible whole body shell sitting at Year One had the correct transition. Here's the photos I took at Year One. |
