Default 69 Firebird Shocks

Are rear shocks the same length for a mono leaf and multi leaf car or are the multi leaf shocks longer?
I realize the multi leaf shock must be a heavy duty type just wanted to know if the length is different.
Thanks KC

I think the multileafs are longer. The lower shock mounts to the bracket underneath the spring pack. So more leaves means thicker, therefore the mount moves further away from the top mounting surface.

Most manufacturers carry two part numbers (one for monoleaf, one for multileaf) for that reason. They should be able to confirm which length fits which.
