Default 1967 Firebird rear suspension question

Hi group.
Is there supposed to be support brackets on the rear axle of a 67 firebird?

Thank you JWC.
Do you think these are a necessity for regular daily driving?

Should be fine I’d think with a 326 and auto trans without the bars.

Although it wouldn’t be hard to source some originals or fab up something to replace them.

IIRC, OHC 1 BBL had none. Sprint & all others had 1 except for the 400 cars which got both sides.
