Default Which spark plugs would you choose?

Group,
I'm my 67 firebird, I have a 1965 326 with a HEI distributor. Which plugs should I use and what gap? Thanks

Well, if the heads are original to the 1965 engine, AC Delco R45S would have been used and gapped at .035" due to the points.

I'd probably also go one step colder than stock, and use a R44S to avoid the plug being a hot spot that creates pre-detonation when it's not firing.. And since you're running HEI, you could increase that gap to 045" to take advantage of the stronger spark it provides.
