Really like. Being a fan of both the Vintage Trans Am series, and Boso jap rides, it's one of my personal favorites.

The center is a little different than the original Panasports of Watanabies, but definetly cool.

If I could afford them, I'd be sportin' them. TTDs are closer to my price range though.

Konig did one called the Rewind I wanted for my jap car, but didn't have the sizes I wanted; wound up with TTDs.

I'd like some Pana-likes for my 'Bird like you got, like I said; can't afford them. Stretching some steelie Rally2s to 15x12"or14" with some 295s/50s makes me smile, I know TTDs will be so much faster/lighter though.

I saved your car pic to my build idea folder

First, they look great on the car. Second, and I fear this answer, where do you get them and more or less $ range? And what bolt patterns are they avalible in? If things work out, I'd like that same wheel on one of my rides.

Rims are made in California by a company called Team 3. They are pretty pricey.

http://www.team3wheels.com/ac/ Anyone hear of these guys?

I plan on going with 8" in front and 9" in back, with a 4" backspace.

I already spoke with them and there is a one to two week time frame.

Thanks
Charles

One of my favorite wheels.
There is a set on a 80ish Camaro on one of the F body sites wearing a set of those. Awesome.
They look great on that red T/A.

I will probably never part with the Honeycombs, but like everything else, Never say never. I also really like the Honeycombs.

These are 17" rims and here is a pic of the tires. I plan on 235/55R/17 front and 255/50R/17 rear. These are 27" tall tires.

Thanks
Charles

Charles,

I always favor the stock wheel. Once you start dressing with the aftermarket there is no end.
To me nothing compares to the 15x7 honeycomb and would run the Honeycomb at the track but its about 6 lbs heavier each than the Rally II..

I race the Rally II's and show the car with my honeycombs on the OEM Firestone SR 500's.

Just like you said, doesn't end..

Thanks Jay

Your car looks great Charles!!! The TKO and Moser dont count....you gotta take a knee to see them.

That aftermarket is a bear that wont let go. You will be polishing the rest of your life.

I like them. They're very similar to the Minilite wheels a lot of racers used back in the old Trans Am days. http://www.bossman.com.au/

I put that style of wheel on my wife's Triumph TR6. Mine are Superlites from vtoperformance.com. They are made in Great Britain and are $195 each for 15x8s.
