I just love seeing this GTO with a hitch. All cars should have hitches.

Still around
Please see the pictures of my Dad's car that he ordered in 1964:
http://s569.photobucket.com/albums/ss132/Joe68hurst/ Car is a 65' Catalina with Ventura trim - stats are: 421 HO, 3x2s, 4spd, T.I. ignition, Class III trailer tow package - including the 4-core radiator, frame cross member that the dealer had to weld on when the car was delivered, HD frame Car is still in our possession but has been off the road since 1974. Notice the ride height of the car - higher than the non-trailer tow cars. Oh, the car was/is black with black interior, manual steering, manual brakes - and my parents took their honyemoon to South Florida in the summer of 1966 in this car. Because of how the car is equipped, it is sort of the anti-modern car. Oh, the "Catalina" badges on the front fenders? That was to "inhibit" the theft of the engine! The 421 badges were put back before the car was off the road. |

More
Billy Clubb's 70
Rob Schneider's 69 GTO that would later be transformed into Wayne Garrison's Judge Andy Lehosky's 65 GTO. This car had a 421 with RA II heads and a modified crossram with 2 AFB's on it. Wild stuff.

Rob's 69 being transformed into the Judge that is still being run by Wayne Garrison (Pypes adds). Rob and I fitted the one piece glass front end and doors.
Everyone working on Richard Barnhart's 66.

My 72 Lemans that I should have kept
Car looks like crap now, I almost bought it back last year, but just couldn't see redoing it again. I'll savor the memories. Last pic is little Erik and my LeMans. He's 24 now!!

Here's my Firebird, about 20 years ago 1989-1990, on the seaplane ramp at Air Station Port Angeles. I bought it in 1987 in Shelton WA. I took it down to bare metal and re-did the bodywork, and put a Pontiac engine back in it. It took a year or two to get it finished. This picture was taken on a weekend duty day, I had just washed it and was planning on taking some pictures of it. The duty crew is "pre-flight briefing" next to the helicopter in the background...

My engineering officer had duty this day, he was the aircraft commander, I asked him to hover behind my car for a picture. He was carefull not to sandblast it with the rotor downwash...

1966 Batman And Robin
How many here were influenced by this show? Just loved watching the Batmobile firing up in the bat cave and then coming out of the brush....along with the music it was hard to beat!

I had a car, was out on the road. No time for TV at that time so I only saw 4-5 Batman shows. Did I miss something? LOL.
