Yes it looks like they opened up both the intake runners and extensively modified the plenum opening area. Make sure you check the port opening size compared to your heads intake port. The intake runners may have been opened up to RA IV size and be larger that your heads. Seems like a fair prize since it included shipping

Can you post up a closer shot of just one runner?
To me the Manifold looks like its gasket matched to a RA4/ 455SD gasket size from what I can see of it now.

I usually cut that exhaust heat area away.. Then the air can flow around the runners and keep things cooler...

looks like what SD performance does or someone has copied it?. I had Dave do the full meal deal on my manifold to go along with the Engine he built for me.

Here's a reference for you.

The height of a stock D port runner is 2.05".

RA4 height is 2.180".

455 SD height is 2.20" .

i measured the height of the runners at 1 1/8 inch. i put it on my 455 with the HO heads. the heads were ported to the same size as the intake so it was a good match over the performer i was going to go with.....The guy i bought it from thought it came like that from the factory. Runs great. thanks for the info guys...
