Default Need 62 wiper motor piece.

The stud broke off on my 62 cat wiper motor. So I need that center pawl that goes all the way through the motor and has the stud on the end.

If anyone has a broken wiper motor and doesn’t want to yank the part I need out of it I would also take the whole thing for a reasonable price.

Also if anyone knows what the part it called that might help me in my search. It’s pictured.

I was looking for the motor I had but still can't find it. Could you have your olds piece TIG welded?

Probably but it’s likely easier to just wait till I find a junk one.

I went and stole the motor off my parts car, and got it unfrozen. So I have working wipers now, but I would like to put that other motor back together since it works.

I’m not really under a time crunch since I had the spare. I wish I knew how many years/models have the same type of piece I’m missing. That would make it easier.

You might want to contact https://www.classicwipers.com. Even of you don't have the motor rebuilt, they may have parts on hand.
