Default Rally II wheels

I am selling a set of 4 matching HF code 15 x 7 Rally ll wheels. These came off a VERY low mileaged 1987 Firebird Special Edition. The bill sheet code would be N83. Three of the 4 wheels are stamped M57 6 (valve stem) 23 HF. And one is stamped M57 6 (valve stem) 24 HF. The date is June 23(3) and 24(1), 1987. They are survivors in EXCELLENT CONDITION!!! NEVER BEEN REPAINTED!!! Charcoal gray spokes with gold lug nut area. NOT one rust pit in them, ESPECIALLY where the spokes end and the outer rim meet. Lug nut holes are basically in EXCELLENT/MINT condition. They have a few paint chips on them. One of the wheels had a VERY SMALL dent on the inside rim lip which I have straighten. Also, included are the 4 ORIGINAL trim rings which have some dings and dents. Asking $425.00 OR BEST OFFER. Call Enzo at 570-430-7314 if interested.

Umm, did you mean 1977 instead of 1987?

Default *** SOME USEFUL INFORMATION ***

Everyone and their mother has asked me this question a 1000 times over and over again. These 4 matching Rally II 15 x 7 wheels are from a 1987 Firebird SE (SEE 1st PHOTO). People who could not afford the aluminum alloy wheels got the Rally II's. There were 5 wheel options to chose from. *** ONLY *** in 1986 and 1987 Pontiac brought back and offered these Rally II wheels on base model Firebirds with a 2.8 liter V-6 engine. Pontiac reversed the argent silver and the charcoal grey. "MY" 4 Rally II's were a Special Edition Firebird paint scheme, black and gold. I also have in my possession 2 matching Rally II from a 1986 Firebird in the reversed silver and gray (SEE 2nd and 3rd PHOTOS). As I stated in my description, this is a code N83. I have documentation from a Chevrolet dealership stating this. You can pass the word around if you do not believe me. I just can not believe NO ONE CAN REMEMBER THESE RALLY II BACK IN 1986 AND 1987 PLACED ON FIREBIRDS!!! Enzo

I remember this option on the 3rd gen Firebirds in that time frame.
Back then, I remember thinking that it was great that Pontiac was still offering those great wheels.
Good luck with the sale!

Thanks for the info, Enzo. I was looking for wheels for a 77 and had done a search for 2nd gen rally 2 wheels and was linked to your ad by mistake. I know nothing about the 3rd gen cars and thought it might be a typo. Sorry for the inconvenience. Good luck selling them!

Talking

Of course judging by the quote below, I was not the only one not very familiar with these wheels.

For the pass year and a half, I have been trying to figure out this "mystery" on this set of 4 Rally II wheels. I believe Pontiac "flipped" the traditional colors on the Rally II wheels on the third generation Firebirds. All are 15 x 7 and date coded the same, M57 6 left of valve stem and 23 HF right of valve stem. The color scheme is gold lug nut area with charcoal gray spokes. I am 110% positive that these have not been repainted. I have tried numerous Firebird/Trans Am forums and other Pontiac sites in which they are completely stumped. I am able to send a few photos of these wheels and the trim rings to a valid email address. I would like to know if I have something rare or not, as well if these wheels are of any great value. Your help and knowledge will be GREATLY appreciated. If need be, you may call me on my cell phone, 570-430-7314. Thank you Enzo.
