Thanks for the carb info. Has the W72 info from John Witzke become available yet?

Default Tired of Black Trans Ams yet?

Are you guys tired of looking at Black Trans Ams yet?I wanted Mayan Red,with red velour, but this is what came up. I picked this up in the fall from a guy who had it for 25 years. He had just got divorced, and wanted a Harley.I guess Trans Ams dont score with the honeys anymore!! Its a 60000 mile car,and runs and drives like new.I did quite a few things to it over the winter, and really feel fortunate to find a car this nice 10 miles from home.It has some chrome under the hood left from the 80,s that i left on it,to leave some of the 70,s,and 80,s patina.I still have a few things to do,but pretty close, not a show car, just a really nice driver.Cant wait for some good weather so i can drive it!

No, my car is not a show car. That one is for sure a show car. Very nice. I like under the hood.

I was going to say "Cool, another Y88" untill I saw no t-tops. I like it. Gold on camel is a great color combination.

Default 79 Formula 4 Speed

My numbers matching 79 301 4-speed.
No where near as nice as some of these TA's/Formies, but she
still turns heads. Obviously not 'correct' with the air dam, hood stripes,
headers and cam, but it's what i would've done back then anyway...

Premier. I got it running today and drove it around the neighborhood. It's the first time in 8 years that it's moved under its own power.

Here I am with my old Air Force housemate's 77 TA and his motorcycle. He bought the car new in Valdosta, GA. (We were stationed at Moody AFB in Valdosta.) He actually got it right before the movie was released and we actually drove it to the theater to see the movie when it came out. We met a couple of cuties from Valdosta State College out in the parking lot after the movie (big crowd gathered around the car and we pretty much had our pick!) They rode with us to the local watering hole and the rest of the night was...well, use your imagination!

The bike is a Kawasaki KZ 400 - also my housemate's. He was an E6 and I was an E4, so he had more money for cool cars and stuff. I had a Chevette, so you can guess which car we always drove when we were out prowling. Good times!
