I guess you can be slow with good head gasket life or fast and change head gaskets every couple hundred passes.

From what im reading here all that matters is head gaskets not performance.

My ram air 5 build is not a max effort engine. Nor does it have pushrod tubes in the intake ports. I'm not much of a speculator but I'm pretty sure we will hit 1000ish na without crazy compression at 505in. Good enough for me

Here is all the dragncar needs to know. No matter what head he chooses he doesn't need to worry about head gaskets. No low compression engine is going to build enough cylinder pressure/heat to kill head gaskets (unless he boils the water)
