Dang. Looks like they made the common mistake with the orientation of the front seat upholstery.

That is beyond comprehension on a car at this level .
No wonder it didn't sell at Mecum.
People see that and they begin to wonder .... what else is there we CAN'T see
Not a good vibe for sure

I'll tell you guys a little story about the Steve fella on BaT who has become my friend.
He's a car dealer / flipper
As far as Pontiacs go , he only places safe token sporting bids.
A lot of guys do that regularly , I could do the same , but its not a good look to me.
So I don't do it.
Without a doubt I have too many cars and not buying any more cars.
I don't bid .

When he had a Yenko Camaro on BaT , I googled the VIN early on and found a review from a few previous years of the cars condition back at that time.
When questioned whether those details had been corrected he got really Butt- Hurt.
Went on a tangent with a weird response.

More guys found the review and questioned the same details.
Finally he posted more pics showing most all those things were corrected.
That's all he really needed to do in the first place.

Car went on to bring about a record price of 390k
He thinks I hurt his money - I think I probably helped it .

Sellers just want compliments and bids .
Buyers just want the truth
BaT is designed for the vetting process favoring buyers .
I'm not a buyer , I'm a vetter .
Steve guy hates that & me.

I make no apology for it
Too many buyers get burned by dealers
BaT offers buyers a much better chance at getting known quality and proofed details.
Good cars bring good money usually on BaT.

I really like that kind of honesty we are getting on BAT Baron...keep up the good work

Hard enough to buy a car without seeing or knowing the car...

It is really nice.
And really really rare with 3.90

It has enough quick visual minuses is why it stalled at Mecum., and may stall on BaT.
If he chooses to verify the rear axle stamp and show it has the right seatbelts he can pick up some of the lost points a little.

Some TI stuff would help too.

Tiger gold car was more immaculate and only went to 120k on BaT
This one went 120k RNM @ Mecum
So he's looking for his coins

Another common mistake is applying the wood grain on heater control panel.

My car has many more imperfections. LOL

They did get around to ID'ing the Distributor - as an 078 4bbl replacement.

Still no reply or ID on the axle status or seatbelts.
Have to figure that neither are correct

A palmetto green convertible with WT and upgrade 3x2 went for just shy of $100k not too long ago.
This one should finish better than that one did.
Should do even much better .

Still crazy they had the car for 15 years and left the seat covers that way.
Such a retarded vibe
Like the car wasn't worth enough to ever bother with it.

That's some weird stuff.
They said there was one yesterday too.
Seems like Craigslist would be the best way to scam someone out of a quick deposit.
Or Facebook
