Default Used some inginuity is all!

Not too bad really......... 1.) masked the black part off and trimmed excess around the lip with a razor blade. Then painted the base/clear body color areas. Pulled the masked off area tape.

2.) Masked off the body color area completely, trimming the excess at lip. Painted the inner lip and vert's gloss black; might should have been flat black, but chose gloss for durability. Then pulled off all of the body color area masking.

Whole process took a weekend, but easy really! I used cheap/thin maskin' tape so that it would be fingernailed into the lip contours well before trimming away.

Thanks for the advice on correctness Pat. Happiness, now hearing that these look pretty good; I wasn't quite sure afterward.

Later,
Mike
