Default HAPPY THANKSGIVING

Although there is a lot of divisiveness and discord in our country now, we still have many blessings to be thankful for. Happy Thanksgiving to all.

TJ & I would like to add our Happy Thanksgiving wishes !

Not as much cash for Pontiac toys as I'd like. But, we have LOTS to be thankful for !

We no longer do the whole baked turkey, cornbread dressing, cranberry sauce, brown-n-serve rolls, spread, like our moms & grandmas did.

TJ has come up with some simple recipes for ground turkey "slum gullion", and a modified, simplified version of shrimp & grits dressing. Hey, this is Louisiana. We like shrimp down here !

The punkin pie recipe is still the same--right off the pie filling can. If it ain't broke, don't try to fix it. We like extra crust. So, TJ uses 2 deep dish pie shells.
