Default Yellow 74 SD-455 Formula for sale

Anybody know anything about the 74 SD Formula on E-bay for sale.It appears to be 1 of the 17 4spd cars built if it's real. The Vin says it is a real SD Car, but there was know mention of a PHS documentation or #'s matching. Just wondering!!!!!!

So the SD Formulas came with a shaker instead of the Formula hood?

that VIN is higher than any Formula or T/A in the '74 SD registry. It would have been built in late August of '74 making it one of the last SD's built. When was the last known SD built by the way?

yes.funny thing about it is the shaker scoop is blocked off and you could get ram air with the formula hood.that would have been sweet a ram air SD.

You could always make one - I've got an NOS Formula hood and an extra HO air cleaner.

Brew,
I'm curious too as to what he is asking.Maybe if I buy it I can be like you 1 auto 1 stick.I already have a set of NOS stripe's for it.What do you think? I did e-mail the guy and he says the car is PHS'd and that he has that info as well as some sort of what he calls light resto work done, what ever that means.

Larry,

I bought a white 74 SD Formula in San Antonio about 15 years ago, is that the one you are thinking of? If so, I still have it.

it would be nice.when i finish my 74 it will have a few low key upgrades.roller cam,2 1/2 R/A exhaust manifolds, better exhaust and a matched converter.the one trick piece will be a fuctional hood scoop made from one of my extras.i want to hear that Qjet sing.

If you buy it Jim just make sure you keep it a driver since the show car thing gets old quick.
Wonder what it is relative to your manufactured date ?

I talked to the owner yesterday. Nice guy but he does not know a lot about the car except that its worth some money. He can not verify that the motor is original. The last couple digits on the Vin stamp on the motor are not there. The #'s on the trans dont match. Car is a driver. It will be interesting to see if it meets the reserve. I like the car but I would rather have the Sd Greg is selling for the same money.

did you see what the build date was on the data tag or PHS? Just curious as it seems like this is a very late production SD, from the registry info and the cars VIN I'm guessing its around 08C
