Progress update:
Installed the power brake booster assembly and the heater box fan motor. The fire wall was left untouched from original. It cleaned up very nicely and I wanted to leave as much originality on the car as possible. It has some faint grease pencil markings and some runs from some sort of sealant. Hopefully by the end of the week I can mount the sub frame to the body. Bub Last edited by TransAmRIP; 07-10-2017 at 11:47 PM. |

Is that a reproduction booster sold through Inline Tube?
If so, did you have to massage the mounting holes to make it fit? I'm dreading this procedure on my car.

White wire loom? There seems to be a 3' section of what appears to be white wire loom on the wire harness. As you can see by under one of the labels it's white. Is this correct? If so the inside diameter is 5/8" which I cannot find anywhere and would like to use the same diameter and color. Anyone know where I can get some from?

Wasn't happy the way the dash/cowl paint came out so I resprayed it. Now I'm happy with the outcome.

RIP, your cowl area paint looks great! Nice work. Just one thing to consider: the paint appears to be a bit on the glossy side which could cause a bad glare on the windshield when you are driving. This can be annoying and a bit dangerous at times.

I painted it with a satin sheen unless the camera gives off as real glossy. It looks pretty low lustre in person.

In process of restoring my steering column and was able to high lite the letters "LOCK" portion where the key goes in with a Krylon silver leafing pen.

Nice touch using the silver leaf on the "LOCK". Great work.
