Default 2014 POCI Wichita Convention

This will be a special convention, especially for the 50th anniversary of the '64's that a few of us have. I enjoyed the '88 convention there and anticipate this one will be run as well as that one was.

The show location is the Century Center June 17-21. Does anyone know the host hotel for this convention?

When The GTOAA nats were there in 2010 and 1997, it was the Hyatt regency. Pretty much connected to the century center. I'm looking forward to the show. Hoping to debut a car of mine there, we'll see.

I called today. Hyatt Regency rates are $155-$214 per night, depending on bed configuration and whether you take the breakfast option.

I'll be checking nearby hotels for rates & availability.

I read somewhere that the host hotel is a Doubletree Inn. Which is the host hotel?

I thought the Doubletree was for the Pittsburgh area GTOAA event in 2014.

Host hotel is the Hyatt Regency. You will find convention registration info and a list of nearby hotels at

Hyatt is full. Next closest is the Drury just across the street, then Fairfield Inn just down the block.. Les

IIRC, it was the GTOAA out there in '88 instead of POCI. I won 'Best Restored' with this car:

Default Pics from POCI 2014

I guess better late than never. Here are pics I took at POCI 2014 in Wichita:

I showed up on the last day, so I'm sure a lot of cars had already left.
