So which KYB,s did the OP use? Gas Adjust or GR2's?

excel g are softer than the gas-a-just, but still 10% stiffer than stock in both the valving of the shock & the spring rate.

I have the KYB's on my 1970 TA. When I got it it still had the spiral shocks. I wanted to keep it that way and got the replacement spirals from Ames. They did not fit. So I went with gas-adjust KYB and love them. Car rides great and that is with the original front and rear springs.
