Default 70-75 Formula hood scoop block offs

I have contemplated a little project for a while;

I am wondering if someone here, for whatever reason has a pretty damaged Formula hood that they would be able to cut out the full extent of the hood scoop block offs out.

I am asking because I purchased a 70/71 hood last year which has the block offs cut out, and I'd like to replace them.

I know this is a long shot.

please email me if you can help.

I'm giving this a nearly-two-month bump;

I am still looking.

If by any chance someone has a damaged hood that they are deciding to do away with, please keep me in mind.

If, like in Duke's case, the block offs are being cut out, they will very likely be undersized for me - as I would like to ideally 'McGuyver' a means of replacing them on my correct early hood to close them back up...

Thanks for humoring me

You can try to contact Howell's Auto Wrecking in Ogden, Utah. Last time I was there (about a year ago), he had what was left of a 74 Formula 350, with a Formula hood that was broken in half....

He may be hard to catch, as he has had some personal issues or something that has taken him away from his yard.....

Giving this thread a bump, because this is a little side project that pops back up in the recesses of my mind from time to time...

Putting it out there incase someone has a really damaged hood that they don't know what to do with.

For the attached pictures, the red circled parts are what I'd be interested in buying.

None of my business here, but why wouldn't you get someone that is really good with Fiberglass and have the insets redone. Even if you get pieces to install, I would think your gonna have fiberglass work. Not only that, a guy that does Fiberglass work can mock up a block off plate very easily and then cut to shape. Fiberglass is very strong once cured as you know.
I had body shop friend here who did some fiberglass repairs and it turned out beautiful.

I think the best way to reply to that idea is:
Time is money.
I cannot justify spending hundreds of dollars in labour to commission such a job.
I'd rather (if I was able to do this) just get the parts, and do it myself.
