There's at least one barely 20 year old Pontiac restorer on here. Can't remember his log on name. GTO.Paul & I met him & two friends while pulling parts in a monster boneyard up N. We all ended up going into town after the yard closed & ate dinner. That was 2 years ago.

Doesn’t appear to be many takers in this thread lol. I’d be surprised if I’m the youngest but I’ll throw it out there. I’ll be 38 in a month.

I'm 36 and have been here since 2004. Bought my first car, a '74 GTO, at 13 years old in 2001 and still have it.

I'm 47 and been playing with Ponchos since 94 when I graduated HS. I only had one GTO, a 68, and currently have a 74 Grandville. All the rest have been F-bodies., and some other chevies and fords mixed in there.

I still laugh when someone farts. I have my grandkids pull my finger! I tell off-color jokes. I snicker when asked if I want to take my jacket off. Are we talking about calendar age or mental mature age???

One of my sons is a member , but hasn’t posted since he sold his LeMans years back. He’s 29 now.
I know someone here who’s probably early 30’s that used to post also on the PSP site. He hasn’t chimed in yet , so I won’t put him on the spot.

Im 40. I know Im younger than most but Im sure there are plenty who have me beat. Im in that strange range between Gen X and Millenials. I grew up in the Nintendo age, but I also remember life before the internet and cell phones.
There are plenty of younger enthusiasts on the whole, but forums are not where its at anymore. Honestly, the only two forums I know that are really active in the car world are here and The Hamb.

Lol you’re speaking my language. Looks like John Milner wins for now though. By the way, whether we want to admit it or not I believe we’re technically the “M” word.

Probably not the youngest, but definitely in 'the group'.....
I just clicked off the big ' 3 0 ' last month.
I've had my 1970 GTO since I was 17. Dad got me started down the Pontiac path about ten years before that....... I'm the fifth owner and I have personally spoken to the previous four, although one was a used car lot..... Original owner is still living and bought it with help from his mother just after getting back from Viet Nam. Bench seat so his girlfriend could sit next to him. My baby sister has a 1972 Lemans Sport convertible with T41 option. She reads through some of the 1970-72 GTO posts here, but is too shy to post. She's only 25. |
