Do factory electric door locks use a relay?

No. But a fuse panel mounted circuit breaker is required.
If you have pwr seat backs, there is a relay for the seat backs only
If you have a four door, no relay is required

From the '70 Service manual

Thanks again Chief,
So i'm working with a 68 Tempest wagon that has a rear pwr window.
Adding Vista Cruiser power windows, 69 Cadillac power door locks, and power bench seat out of a Monte Carlo.

I got one of these:

following this playbook as best I can:
http://www.buickperformanceclub.com/PW.htm

would it possible to get a clearer picture of the second image? what book is it from?
Thanks, Al
