Default Pypes no longer making 73 tailpipes?

I guess Ive been out of it too long. Hopefully its just my internet skills that are deteriorating, and you guys can tell me where Im going wrong.

Is it true that Pypes no long makes an exhaust system for the 73-77 A body? I ask because I see nothing on their site under GrandAm, and GTO/LeMans only goes to 72, yet there is a category for 78-88 LeMans? Of course the x pipes are generic, so there are parts available when you search by year make and model, but there are no tailpipes listed.

Anyone know who else makes a 3" inch tailpipe for a 73 LeMans? And dont say TorqueTech - they are closing up shop, and their ABody inventory is gone. I might have to hit a local shop, which will likely suck.

Bueller?

This is the only place I have found that has anything for our series of cars. They are listed for a 73-77 Chevelle and only at 2-1/4" or 2-1/2". Maybe they can make a set at 3" for you? Possibly worth a call. Either way I hope this helps.

Even though there not listed fro our cars you can still order from Waldrons in Three Rivers MI. as they can bend the pipes from there stock cards for you & they will be correct. Most companies don't list a 3" tail pipe as they are hard to bend on a reg. bender & need to be bent on a special machine so they don't kink when bent. But they can do it for you.

All good advice Gentlemen, thanks.

I did actually find something on the Pypes website. I couldn't do it by year make and model, but searching the full systems, and using Chevy as the make, I did find 3", crossmember back systems.

Its likely what I did the first time I bought from them way back in '05. i just panicked when I didnt find anything under the Pontiac part of their online inventory.
