Default Intake question on RA II Heads

I posted this in the street section and thought I would also post it here.

This is most likely a stupid question, but can a reproduction RA IV intake manifold be used on RA II heads or am I painting myself into a corner and have to use 234 intake. It seems from my research that the RA II head is a hybrid. Meaning d port on the intake side, hence my question.

The intake will fit no problem.
The intake ports will probably be a little taller than the port on the head.
I would use it, may not be optimum, but better than the cast iron intake.
(IMO)

Had a number of the aftermarket intakes. All were closer to the std. port size. If you get one, make sure you also clean it out good.

John.

I decided to go with the 234 intake. Reason is money. The work necessary to correct the repro RA IV intake that I have would have been very costly. Way more than the cost of a 234 intake.

Some of the repro RA IV intakes are way off. I have one of them.

Well i prepped a4234 intake for the RAM IIs but ended up with a Spreadbore P4B for now.
Maybe after some 1/4 mile runs i will put the 4234 on and enjoy awhile.
