Default what decals did i have

is there a # on the trim tag that tells me the color and decals of my 73 trans am. right now its withe with the blue stripe. i want to know if i had the bird or the stripe. thanks

You will need the PHS invoice copy to know if your car had the optional hood bird or the standard bumper bird...

The last year for the stripes was 1972. All '73 Trans Ams had just a small bird on the nose unless the new-for-'73 hood bird option was checked. A white car would have had blue accent birds and Trans Am decals.

There is a cowl tag on the driver's side next to the cabin air intake. It will list the original exterior and interior color along with the build date and some other into.

Is your car the one on the internet with the killer rims? Who makes them? What sizes?

Nope, thats not me. My car has a set of JW code 15"x7" rally II rims.
