So this is black, red with the white border? It seems to be the most common, but I have never seen a blue version of the Hurst logo. Sounds interesting....

I have to put a tape measure on the car to find out what I need as far as size of the logo. Since my car has the HO stripes running down the center body and door line, It would look kind of strange over the door, but putting one on the hood or centered on the trunk lid may work.

This is the canvas I am working with.

I'm also interested in doing racing numbers for the hood, or quarter or trunk of the same magnetic configuration and would be very greatfull if you could assist.

I see that you have posted a 510 area code phone number. I live in the East Bay of the San Francisco area. Would you mind if I gave you a ring?

thanks so much.

WOW! Beautiful 'Bird. Not that it's any of my bussiness but i think the blue version might look good on it.

The blue version is used when running Hurst Driveline parts, just an FYI.

Are there any shots of a Pontiac with Linda? The only ones I've seen have been the Olds.

Google "Miss Hurst Golden Shifter" or Linda Vaughn. Lots of Pontiac shots in her utube stuff.

I have some I can scan for you if you remind me when I get back around the 17-18 of July.

Glad to hear you made it safely Mike! What a drive that must have been.

I found an old wiper motor and 2 headlight switches, will bring them down on 7-10. I will be staying with my son-in-law Friday night near Asland, KY. Will see you then. In the meantime, have a ball, you deserve it!

Regards, Joe Pesch

Maybe this winter.

Have a retired welder across the street, he gets bored in the winter, may give him a project to do for me., He is a real master at what he does and really likes this car.

Seems to like Bud Light so maybe a little swap with him?

It is in my thoughts to see if we can figure out a light weight solution to all the components.

I'd be shocked if Kirban didn't have a big shifter in his collection.
