That is very interesting. Good to hear you still have both of them too. Do you have any recent photos of your Grand Prix? I really like that shade of green. Those double-stripe white walls are neat too.

Not sure what it weighs, around 5000 to 6000lbs. But I did get 14 to 16 mpg when I drove it from Ohio to SC today without any problems.
Here is a picture you may like, it is of a friends 67 Pontiac Combination coach set up as a Navy Ambulance.

Here are a couple of better photos I took of my car a few days ago. I have since replaced the standard Grand Ville wheelcovers with the optional deluxe finned wheelcovers, since I posted the last photo.

Hearse man, saw the post about the hub cap question for your 68 combination coach. The ones in your pic with the PMD caps are 14 or 15 inch? I have a set in 14 inch minus one PMD emblem.

One day I will have the courage to post a pick of my 68 wagon. On trips to the wrecking yard, my kid (8 yrs old) asked me if I was going to buy one of the cars there since they looked better than the one I drove!

The hubcaps on my coach are 15in. Go ahead and post your pics. They can't all be pretty, some have to be workhorses. Mine is just a workhorse that had to stay pretty to stay working.

Here's another view. The car behind it is a '73 Grand Prix SJ. Wrong forum for it though.

Here's the inside. Sorry about the big pictures: I'm not sure how to resize them the right way.

Strange combo of options. I replaced the AM radio with an AM/FM monoraul out of a '74 Catalina (correct for '73 though). The car had the standard base hubcaps with the RWL tires you see there; it looked terrible.

Those Rally IIs came from a '72 GrandVille that was in the recycler's yard. I found out the hard way that '73 - '76 Rally IIs are unique -- the '72's were designed to accept the angled trim-ring; the rounded ones did not fit -- I was so mad!

Turns out some mid 80's Camaro/ S-10 rings appear almost identical & they do fit.

Here's my very rough '73 Bonneville 4-door pillared sedan. I bought this at an impound auction in Birmingham about 4-5 years ago for $200...mainly for the engine & transmission for a '73 GrandAm (4-door). The owner crashed it in a bad area of Birmingham & just left it for the city to pick up.

Anyway, I towed it home & it ran but the engine made a horrible knocking sound. I would crank it & move it around the field-o-cars every once in a while when it got in the way... Strange how it ran so good while making all that racket. One day I crawled underneath it & removed the dented flywheel cover & the noise went away.

The car sat another year or two in the weeds & I left it in AL when I moved up to NC last year. I caught a ride back to AL & decided to chance it & see if it would make the haul up here.

Keep in mind this sucker hadn't been cranked in nearly a year. I made a weekend out of changing all the fluids/hoses/etc...; repacked the wheel bearings...& removing all of the parts stored in it...

Well, the car made it 600 miles to NC without a bit of trouble! It looked like hell, but geez, after taking care of me like that...I figured I'd save it...

Here's what it looked like the day after I drove it up here. The slot wheels don't help out the looks, but the tires held up!

Nice '67. Are those the original hubcaps? Got any shots of the interior?

I also like the '69 posted above & the Nova. You seldom see '68 Novas... Cool that some Pontiac owners appreciate the other makes.

Here's what the Bombaville looks like as-of now. I scrubbed the funk off, put some new tires on it along with the custom-finned hubcaps. The rims came off my yellow (uhh, "mesa tan" - yuck!) car.

I got the clock working & tore the vinyl top off, exposing some pretty serious roof rust. I've been scraping the paint off the hood with a razor blade in the evenings when I have a bad day at work.

The car was originally "burnished umber" the same color as Shaffer's car. It came without a vinyl top, but someone added one unfortunately.
