Default Post pictures of your 67 GP's

There seems to be a lot of members here with 67 GP's, so let's see how many we have, HT or Conv and any condition.

Here's mine!

Simon,

I bought it 24 years ago. It was Linden Green. It is a VERY loaded car. The 1st thing I said to the owner was "that color has to go".
I convetered it to a 4 speed in 1991 and it got taken apart in 1992 and sat until 2005, when I put it back together and had it painted.

This car was originally Linden Green. I'm undecided on the front end change, although the Ram Air GTO scoops look great on this car. I still have all her original parts if I want to change back.

i like the look of the 2+2 fenders and the gto hood.

it looks like a pretty nice body also. where'd you come up with patch panels for a 67?

I also like the 2+2 fenders and the GTO scoops.

What color do you want to go with?

The body isn't too bad, I found the patch panels through the net, a junkyard near Charlotte NC had a '68 Cat they said they'd cut up for me and I made a Bonsai run down to get them only to find they hadn't been removed, spent half the day helping one of the lot guys cut'em off. I have a patch panel for the rear floorpan under the seat to weld in yet and there's a couple holes in the trunk floor mostly near the frame-to-pan supports.

I'm gonna stick with the green only because after pulling the interior panels I saw how good it looks with the black top and gut, I'm also putting the black sport stripes back on that it came with. Simon, I see that white one has the signal delete, I'll be going with the lower valance signals and I have a extra set of fender extensions that I'm filling and smoothing, it looks better (to me) with the fender vents and scoops if the signals are gone, paintshop pics helped decide that. Now I just wish Chip Foose would hurry up and get here with his crew, timesawastin!!!

Wow, that car looks great with the fender gills and scoops. Looks like you have a real nice project there. Nothing like a drop top for those evening drives. Here is my 67 GP I fell into a few mnths back. I had posted under another topic on here. Its not for sale but if someone was interested $1200 would move it. I hate to see it just sitting as I am concentrating on my 2+2's right now and cant come to cutting her up.

Here is an older picture of mine. Just did a nice cosmetic freshening on her. Some paint/body fixes, lots of new interior stuff, detailed engine, new vinyl top, etc...

I'm not usually one for aftermarket wheels, but those look great on there. What color is it?

MCronkGTO- what size wheels and tires are those. I love the way that they look on that GP. I was thinking of similar ones for my 68 GP. Thanks Pat

The color is a Ford color called Granada Gold with some custom tinting. Actually I recently had some paint fixes done and they had to use the computer to get a close match then the painter tinted it to make a nice blend. The picture in the garage has a lot of reflection from the flash. I get a lot of comments on the car/color. Most people have never seen this model GP around here and think it is a custom or low rider.

The wheels are 17 inch wheels and fit very nicely in the stock wheelwells even with the fender skirts on. I am not at home or I would give you the tire size. They look like they belong on the car, they fill the wheelwells nicely. It is hard to imagine the tiny/skinny tires that came on these cars originally. Kind of looked like a linebacker wearing balerina slippers.
