Default 67 GP

Tire size is 255/40-17. I have added a few more pictures. I still need to replace the front seat covers but it is almost done.

My friend and local 67 guru, Tony Dagata ordered a brand new 67 GP in a special order color called Ramada Bronze. It looks similar to your color.
That whole combination that you have just looks great.

Thanks. It is not a concourse car but a very nice driver. I hope to "show it off" this summer by driving to some events.

I get more comments on this car than I do on my 67 GTO. Most people know about GTO's but have not seen as many GP's. I also drive the GP more than the GTO.

Next up is to find a nice 67 Firebird then I will have the 67 year covered (A, B, and F body). As you can tell I am partial to the 67 model year.

Default My 1967 GP

Attached are Pics of my 67 GP. I picked this up in the fall of '07.
428 - 360HP, PS, PB, Power Windows, Power Top and AC. It has 56K original miles. Working on refinishing some Rally II's for it.

Thanks. I got it for $8700. I think that I stole it from the guy. I believe that it's still sporting a 40 year old paint job. Thx Ed

That car looks like it is worth about double of what you paid.

I would, but then you wouldn't be able to say that any more.

Well, here's a work in progress, pictures are from when I brought it home last spring. NOM 428HO with '66 tripower (also have the original carb/intake), auto, 3.31 posi, ps/pb/pw, 8 lugs, a/c, power bench seat, originally black interior white exterior. The frame and drivetrain were ready to go when I got it and I'm 1 rain free day from firing her up. Then comes installing the remarkably complete interior and paint. I'm thinking plum mist instead of the white. I'm moving in a week and the plan is to drive there if only the weather would cooperate...

Well, unfortunately the weather didn't cooperate and I ended up having to trailer the car to the new house. But, it took me that one rain free day to fire her up and I had her running today. Both end carbs turned into guysers, my radiator had a leak and I can't find the gas pedal, but I adjusted the floats, threw in a spare radiator and just set the throttle/choke by hand and had it running pretty well (though very loud through the open long branch manifolds). I would have driven it, but the trans cooling lines don't mate properly to the radiator, so I have to get some adapters before I can fill it and try to drive it.

I'll post some new pics when it's moving on it's own...but I bolted all of the sheetmetal on loosely (I've found it's easier to store parts on the car) and it looks pretty darn good, even in 3 different colors.

Here are pics of a parts car that we bought 2 years ago, stripped it and crushed it this summer, we saved damn near everything that was useable, frame was shot though.
It sat in a farmers grove since 1978.
Still have parts from it if anybody is looking for some.

Mark,
I wanted to stuff a similar set of rims but 18 inch on my 68 catalina but the backspace wasn't right they sat too far out and rubbed bad. What is the back spacing of those rims?
