'65 2+2 HT 421 HO,Auto
Selling for a friend '65 2+2 Catalina 421 HO,auto,posi (unsure of ratio),8 lugs,buckets,console floor shift, tach,gauges,a/c, p/s . Has rust from vinyl top, hole at each lower corner of rear window , rust hole behind rear wheel openings , pitting on roof, floors seem to be solid , carpet is removed . Engine appears to never have been apart , all heat tubes,brackets etc. there. Missing link from center carb to rear carb, fan & orig. air cleaner gone also, a/c is there & compressor still turns . Last registered in '89 . Used to start & run occasionally last time started rear carb was flooding. Needs a good home, to good & complete to part out . Do not have the info to decode the data plate , but I have known the car since '80 or '81 and it didn't look much different than now . The doorjambs appear to be original red the interior is black as for the vinyl top I believe it was black there is not enough left to tell , surely if it was white there would a sign of it . Needs a good home , it has been sitting in the same spot for around 20 years . The owner is 69 years old and has 57 T-Bird that is nice and is the second owner of a 72 400 4 speed GTO that I am about to install 455 HO,TKO600 and a 12 bolt also has real 72 HO GTO. Knows that he won't get to it . Thanks Daniel

Frame is good, just has rust around rear glass and corners behind rear wheels. small spots around top of windshield .
