Not if I can help it. We will recover all the parts that matter and although it may not be done right away , the body could be primed and used as a drag car with that 3.42 Safe T Track it has until all the other stuff starts to come together.

Yes, the parts are all there just not in these pics but I cant be sure completely till I am there in person. We have to plan a day to go up and get it all.

thanks, I might be able to go and get it next few days . wonder how it would run with my 11:1 roller street/strip 455 and my th350 as a temp drag car with the 3.42's .. just get the sheet metal back on , some primer and merely do the brake hoses/cylinders run a 1/2" fuel line and put a cell in trunk leave inside gutted. it would be a bad mofo on some 26x9.5x14 hoosier quick time pros w original steelies

Talked to guy again and he still has not picked up block and heads from machine shop that have been left there for along while and the radiator support and front inner fender wells are at another place that was supposed to blast them and some other thing a bout new radiator and gas tank..blah blah, he is supposed to call me Monday and hopefully he will finish gathering up parts to same location. I found him on facebook and a pic of the car he posted as delivered to his shop in Januay 2012 and the way he talks he act like it is his..

Thanks for the kind words EE. Here is a question.. I just got title mailed to me in advance of picking it up which hopefully will be next week. I saw the VIN is pretty late from Pontiac plant. final 7 digits P304288 wonder how close is it to last 67 2+2 ?

Well Project Recovery kicked off yesterday as I was able to retrieve the car and most of the parts. I will have to return to get the short block and heads w flywheel from some machine shop. Hopefully that will happen with in 2 weeks. Also still have to get seats and console , door panels but no worries where they are at. Had one casualty hauling the gutted roller body on the trailer. with no doors or side glass in it, the front clip apart and rear deck lid off all of which traveled well in or under the car. Some wind got inside and blew off the back glass and shattered it in the road. ooops. Some options the car had I forgot was it has 15" steel wheels (one MIA) also Reverb and Rear Defogger controls on dash, with AC PS and Safe Track but yet it has MANUAL DRUM BRAKES ...Kind of odd not to option up that. Also still to pick up a new aluminum radiator and new gas tank when I get the block. I do have original intake , carb, brackets, engine sheet metal , timing cover, bell housing , clutch , HD Ford 3 speed , drive shaft , cross member.. yada

Also wanted to mention it had the switch for under hood light and trunk light. Not sure if that is common on a performance model

It is looking like the engine is completely MIA and I am 90 percent sure I am being lied to anyway. So the car with tranny and some engine parts literally basket case apart. Got to go pick up seats and side glass still but who wants it that is serious and ball park offers via PM I guess. It might get parted out but really would prefer one of ya'll high roller PY ers to fix this car right. Beware cowl rust below windshield and wiper area that was under chrome is bad beside between bottom of back glass and trunk gasketthat area was also under chrome.
