Still for sale and ready for paint. I can't believe this is still here, especially considering the cost of a bare block and all the quality parts that go into a rebuild like this, I'm sure a rebuiler would be invoicing this out over $ 6,000.00.

This totally rebuilt 428 XF engine is sitting in the back room at my shop. The original owner of this engine and the car it came out of was interested in buying it back but never followed through on the deal. Sooo, it's back up for sale again and now at a reduced price of $ 4,000.00 with pickup in Chicago. The 400 transmission is also available and has been professionally rebuilt as well. SJ project car may also be available which would make this a numbers matching project for some lucky collector. Engine has been professionally rebuilt with the best of everything by a 35 year Pontiac mechanic with heavy knowledge/involvement in the POCI circles.
