Sounds like a cool car.

I picked this one up in 2008 for $6000. I got it from the original owners son. He had it shipped out from Pennsylvania 5 years prior when his dad died. Its a special order car with original docs...order form...sales contract..... With the exception of the redline tires....the car is as ordered... Kinda of an odd one as it has manual steering and brakes.....

Default 70 Bonneville

The 70 Bonneville is one I had a few years ago. 55K original miles and an awesome driving car. Used it in my daughter's wedding, which I thought was totally cool. Sold it to an older gentleman in NJ to help finish up the 67 GP , then saw it for sale on Craigslist about a year or so ago. Lost track of it after that.

Nice car. My parents had a maroon one back in the late 70's.

A few years ago there was a silver one with 35,000 original miles for sale in Reno. The guy only wanted $3500 for it. I sent my dad over there to look at it but the guy wouldn't let my dad drive it so I had my dad offer him $2800...the guy turned down the offer and held firm at his price. The car needed a carb rebuild and the paint was thin. About a month ago I saw the same car on ebay for $6500 and I think it sold..... I guess I shoulda bought it...

I would have liked to have kept that one, but I can't keep them all. It was such a great driving car. Since I saw it on Craigslist, I've been curious to know if it sold, and for how much. It was on there for quite a while, and was advertised for more than I sold it.

Default 68 wagon

I picked this up earlier this year, and have been gathering parts throughout the summer. Put a headliner in it and did a lot of cleaning. Got 2 new bumpers and a set of Rally's in the back, and still have room. This is next year's fun.

With my Bonneville, I never have to tell my wife to pack lighter. That trunk is so large and has been so full that the back used to sag. I put on a set of Super Lifts, and now it can cruise all day at 75, fully loaded and perfectly level.

Wow, we have several 67 wagons in here! Here's my busted-up version....67 Executive, originally gold/gold, will eventually be black/black (assuming I don't sell it first). I installed the GP front end, 8-lugs, and 4-speed. It needs a ton of work, but it runs and drives as well as you'd expect a 210,000 mile wagon to drive. My wife hates it. It's the only one of my cars that she refuses to drive.

That's a shame, it's a great looking car and the manual transmission is great. You advertised that one for sale starting a few weeks after I picked up the '74 otherwise we would have been talking...

Not looking pretty in this photo when it was dropped off by the truck back in 2009 and propped up on blocks but my 67 Bonneville 428 convertible was days from being parted out and needed to be saved. Found out its most likely the only Verdoro green 67 Bonneville convertible ever built as well as the most loaded too, only option I wish it had was the HO 428. The options go down to the bottom of the window sticker and I was lucky to find two build sheets. It was built for the 67 Minneapolis Aquatennial Parade and thanks to a PY member, I spoke to the man who prepped it new in May of 67 so its documented too. Its a long term resto project and I have gathering parts slowly since 2009. One day it will be finished.

I could take it off your hands if you ever decide to stick with GTO's. Hope you're doing well my friend.

I heard the same from my wife when I came across, and eventually bought my Safari last year. I told her, well, I didn't buy it for YOU, soooooooo..... got the whole front seat to myself

Sweeeet and the Cordova top, I love'em, just a classy look for these year cars. I am becoming increasingly bored with my GTO of 25 years. I can see a GP in my future.

Default 67 GP pics

Here is my recent project. It is now at the body shop for a frame off. Once done, it will be triple black, and loaded with every option available at the time. A correct code 428 has been rebuilt to HO specs along with a .068 cam. The seats and door panels are done, a rally gauge dash was sourced and is rebuilt along with the proper harness and a room full of NOS, new and used parts are waiting. Got to get the body and frame done this summer and begin the assembly. I hate this stage because one doesn't see much progress being made, just a big mess.

Thanks to many on this forum for help and with parts. There will be a lot of stuff left over if anyone needs anything.

Default 67 Bonne/ Myrtle

Most of you have seen this one and heard the story. Long and short, it was our grandparents car( Myrtle was grandmother) new and remained with them until they were 89 and 90 years old, then our dads, and next me, and now my brothers to care-take. We both learned to drive in the car when we were 14 and 15. Most recently he moved to South FL and Myrtle is now there with him. Not before she made it to the past 4 POCI shows.

I think my hood tach might of been dealer installed? It's a dixco co. type hood tach. Thinking of going with a '67 Pontiac style one day?

My '75 ; great uncle and aunt bought it new. I got it in the late 90s with 20 something thousand original miles. It's been garaged it's whole life and I think it now shows about 35,000 miles. Wasn't happy with the 200 horse 455, so I replaced it with a 030 over 1970 455 I machines with 6X-8 heads (9.3 comp) with some pocket porting, 3 angle valvejob, Comp Cams 255 DEH, roller rockers, RARE exhaust headers, 1971 intake, few other things. The difference was night and day after the swap; I even beat a co workers 350 IROC in the late 90s after I installed the engine -
