Nice Bonny. I believe I saw the car at the Kil-Kare drags in OH last July.

Back in the mid 70's my parents had a 428 4 speed '67 Ventura that same color combo.

Wow. I've always preferred the '68 model year but that '69 can set in my driveway anytime. I like it a lot.

Up close on the odd looking 69 tail. I got lucky in that the car was rot free and hit free. Original bezels were nice (just needed the black and silver re painted. I found both tail lamp lenses NOS for dirt cheap (unlike NOS Gto lenses).

Car was missing all the original protective side moldings (replaced with a roll of plastic chrome to hide the clip holes. I managed to round up two NOS and 4 used ones, all of which had to be dyed the correct brown.

This is the only photo I have where you can really see the expresso brown at its best. Car was a crappy 80's caddy candy red, nice to see her back in her original color, the interior is gold leather.

The interiors of these 69's are a weak spot, the look and quality of materials used on the dash compared to the mid 60's is disgraceful, looks like a Nova dash.
In fairness to pontiac this was a GM thing, I had a 70 Eldorado and it had an equally crappy dash despite being the most expensive car GM made.

This is a car I have got on the road this week. Its a 1967 bonneville with 325 hp engine and A/C . It has a limited slip diff and still working smog pump .The engine has 143 heads [389 type] carter 4bl and runs pretty good. It has 138000 mls and was owned by one family in nevada. I saw it in las vegas and had to buy it I was not popular with the wife as it went on the visa card. It seems very much as the factory made it under the bonet so if any one needs pictures to put their one back to stock tell me and I will put them up.

Long and low! What a sleek looking car, in a classic 67 color.

Could you tell us a bit about the 63 tempest lemans?
