Default Interior colors

Hey Guys

I'm doing a color change on my '65. Was originally capri gold with gold interior. It will be charcoal blue, with black interior.

My question is. What color would the top of the dash, lower dash, and tops of the interior doors have been?

Thanks!
Brad

Brad, on Black interior 65 A-bodies, top of dash is a flat black. Lower dash and door tops are a semi-gloss to gloss black. Sounds like a great color combo! Best of luck.

I just painted the interior of my '64 with the common dark blue. My paint supplier couldn't match anything from the Ditzler #. They did a color match from the back of the glove box door. I assume you had one of the Fawn colors listed on chart that was posted. Hopefully someone out there can help you with the paint color. As also mentioned it was all the same color, just different gloss. I did a base coat of all the same color, then sprayed 0 gloss clear over upper dash, steering column and windshield frame. Masked that off and sprayed statin clear over lower dash and upper doors. It was interesting how changing the gloss made it look like two different colors. Hope you got this figured out.
