Default Boost & Ignition Question

Woo-hoo, only two weeks until our race season begins (weather permitting in the Rockies).

I will make my boost debut for our first test n' tune in a couple of weeks which brings me to a ignition question.

Is a boost engine better off running a multiple spark ignition or a hotter single spark? My current ignition is a mechanical advance Mallory Comp 9000 distributor with a Mallory coil and a MSD street fire MSD box. I do have a MSD blaster box I can run if a single hotter spark is more desirable. I should be running 6-8 PSI of boost.

I would think the mech advance would give you trouble - I run a locked dist and an ignition box that can control timing via boost imput - -- since most mulit spark boxs convert to single spark above 3000 rpm - I dont think that is a big deal.
