Default Hagerty drive inn

This had been postponed multiple times, but hagerty finally pulled off the Greenwich, ct drive inn event showing Ferris buellers day off. Was fantastic. Really well done. Got to show kids what a drive inn is all about. They sent me pics today. Pretty cool.

That's great for the kids, were there more people there than what's shown? Hope so, looks eerily barren.

Great looking ride, hope you had fun, was there a concession stand? Kids need popcorn and a drink!

It was lightly attended, most likely cause it got postponed from early in summer and it was a cold night. There were about 15 cars there. Yes, they had awesome gift bags with gourmet popcorn, gummy bears and other treats. No reason to ever switch insurance- these guys treat customers right.

I have to agree that Hagerty is great and they offer some great events to give back to the enthusiast community. Not sure that they do a great job marketing some of these events though- maybe they're trying to avoid over-crowding? I don't think I received any notification of this event. Not that would have gone, but still, it was in the same county as me.
I attended a track day they sponsored at Lime Rock in October of 2018. It was an awesome deal, only $75 for four 20 minute track sessions. I think they only had around 20 cars, and two of those came from me telling guys that hadn't gotten the invite. I also expected to see more "collector" cars at the event. There were only like 5 cars that I would call "vintage" at the event, including my '79 Trans Am. Mostly '90s and up Porsche 911s and such.
