Hmmmm, THAT gives me an idea: a ChinaBay Propane carb for $11.

My Stihl weed eater developed some carb related running ills and I bought one of the Chinese carb/fuel line kits. The fuel line was impossibly small, so I went back with some I had. The tank insert leaked. I never did overcome that. The engine did run and I think with a certain amount of tuning it would have been fine.
I had an epiphany while I was yanking on the starter rope one day. I’ve had shoulder surgery and probably will be having more. I don’t have to do this.
I bought a Milwaukee battery electric trimmer and edger. It’s probably more trimmer than the Stihl was, it’s lighter and cranking it is somewhat easier.
I gave the Stihl to my youngest and he put another Chinese carb kit on it and says it doesn’t leak now and runs fine.

I put one on a Toro snowblower that had a Tecumseh "Snow Command" motor. It ran just fine, no issues whatsoever for years.

The issue with most of these lil carbs is the diaphragms, harden with age. Just rebuilt our 1982 Weedeater's Walbro carb & now runs fine.

Not had a problem with them, pressure washer, mower, and weed eaters! Work like a charm. on two cycle engines I only use full synthetic oil for the mix. The Ryobi blower runs too hot and seized the rings if full synthetic isn't used. It also has an offshore carb, starts and runs perfectly!
