shock replacement
I'm changing out the shocks on my 67 lemans. the 2 front and Right rear one came out fine. However the drivers side is being a pain. I can't seem to get any type of tool on the farthest rear upper bolt and nut. I believe the fuel/brake line my be in the way but I can't see up in there and around everything to figure out how to move it or even what it really is.
Can anyone advise me on exactly how I'm supposed to remove this one? Thanks |

Vice grips and spin the shock or maybe a flare nut wrench? I may have loosened the brake line years ago...

The vice grips got it. I was having an idiot moment from frustration and using them never entered my mind. I had tried a flare nut wrench and every other set of pliers and wrenches I could think of.
Thanks you for suggesting them. Its funny how we get so tunnel visioned sometimes |

You rock.
With experience, we learn to walk away when it is really a good idea & come back a little later.
