Default How do you get old stickers off a chrome bumper?

I have a few that been on there for years and I really don't want to scratch the bumper but I don't know what to use. Any suggestions?

try a heat gun or hair dryer then use some nail polish remover to remove the glue from the sticker

Here on my rear bumper are some old stickers that the original owner put on when she bought the car. It says "safe driver" I don't think so!

Keep in mind once you remove the sticker the chrome underneath it is usually not faded/scratched & looks brighter than the rest of the bumper.

leave them on, that is patina from an earlier time. What I wouldn't give for a vintage "Story Town USA" sticker on my bumper! The kind that, when you left the fun park in the afternoon- was plastered on every chrome bumper in the parking lot. Some dad's went home and peeled them off, but some who's kids protested didn't. Some didn't care! Those were the days- circa 1970!!! LOL!

I too agree to leave them on, but aircraft/paint remover melts them off carnage style. Freakin' awesome like!! Spray it on a rag, then dab it on the sticker . Just watch your paint.

I would leave them on too. The bumper will look worse with them removed. The spots will be there in the chrome and it will make you want to have the bumper rechromed. Save some money and leave the stickers there.
