p/n 4309530 right hand lower hinge, p/n 4309351 left hand lower hinge
fits all full size 1961 through 1964.

The first mention of self adjusting brakes in the factory brochures was in 1963.

1966 Chassis Parts Catalog shows parts for self adjusters starting in 1963.

Thanks.....for the info...

I looked at the hinges....and they looked the same....just wanted to make sure....before I pulled them.....

It appears that door needs to come off....and lower portion of fender needs to be unbolted?

This 63 has NO self-adjusting hardware....so I am assuming previous owner didn't like the concept...

A lot of the changes in the 63 model year were done mid year. If you have an early year production car, it may not have come with automatic adjusters. Also mid year was the change from a 4 bolt water pump to an 8 bolt.

When I first started work as a mechanic self adjusting brakes had only been out a few years and people didn't trust them. Whenever we did the first brake job on a car that had self adjusters we removed them. Simple job.
