Has anyone painted their rally 2 rims just black? Or, has anyone seen them that way? Looks? I'm considering that on my Lamborghini orange painted convertible with the new BF Goodrich white letters turned inside.

Ive never seen it done well. Or powdercoated. I saw a sloppy one once that didn't look good. AR does make those ones I liked, which are basically all black Rally IIs. I had actually resigned to buy them, but then it turns out they don't have a skinny one for the front. That wheel is only made in a 9" width.

I had some of the money I was planning to use for wheels/tires fall through. So now Im not sure if I going to do it at all. If I do I had kinda settled on the black center US Mag Standard. Maybe down the line I powdercoat the whole things black.

These have held up incredibly well and the price is decent. Not the cheapest, but not anywhere near the most expensive. They are within your budget if you are looking at Weld's.

EDIT: Sorry I saw you were looking at welds and didn't comprehend the last sentence that you were looking at weld type wheels in used format.

I don't know exactly what your budget is, but my setup spec'd and shipped was right at $2000.00 which does include the tires, mounting and balancing. You'll likely find that those boyd wheels will likely fall in that same territory with tires and mounting.
