Default 70 Jack Value

What would a Norwood style 0E dated jack assembly be worth -- mast and base? Unrestored but in good condition.

Great question! I need an early 70 jack assembly so I'd also like to know.

Depending on overall condition 150-200. That’s fully functional with no real pitting etc. t have a few. The real rare and pain in the ass expensive one is the Van Nuys Jack. Thanks to hours of looking through jacks and working with Steve Tischler we found I had ONE out of about 100 jacks

good question.

I know I'd be interested in it... but this might be a bad time, because all of a sudden I find myself buying stuff...
but on the upside, I just checked, and I lost an auction, so... maybe I can afford to get into a little more trouble!?

lol

I should've said I need and early 70 Norwood jack. FASTASSBIRD can you post a pic of your 70 Van Nuys jack for reference? I might need on as well.

Can you post a picture of this? Or is it the one in the picture comparing a VN one?

Date code stamped into flat rivet. Also angle of the hook is different on Firebird then gto or big car so don’t try cheating lol

Like I said, full credit to Steve Tischler. He and I worked at identifying jacks for probably a full 12-16 hours over four or five days he did a hell of a lot of leg work not me. I just had all the jacks for comparison. I believe the second jack in the pic was a Fremont built 66 gto btw

I believe that the 1972 jack does not have that style shaft(?);
It has the hollow tube style shaft instead of the "T" section shaft.
I think the "T" section shaft was 1971 only.
I believe another thread helped me to id the jack I have in my car, and it's a 1972 part.

Nice pics!

My 70 jack is one solid shade of rust. Hopefully I'll be able to save it.

incase anyone cares for identification purposes, HERE is the thread that I created early this year about identifying jacks... there were some fantastic posts from others in the thread.

The mast design I think is a regional difference as well.
