I've never seen those before. The normal Hurst decals were on the outer forward edge of the glass tops.

Thumbs up

I spent some time with polishing and sealing the paint using the Wolfgang brand products and techniques recommended by BWB. I am happy with the results. They work better than the Presta brand products I had used on it a couple of years ago. Best part is that they really are not too hard on the wallet.

The car was an all original base firebird that had very few options, including the Hurst T-tops. The T-tops still have the small decals in them also.

Wheel looks great! Where did you get it. I have a nos in mine that had a small nick that I filled. If you dont know where to look you wouldn't know it, but I would like to get one that is perfect. Other than that it was perfect with no use. The guy I got it from got it from a dealer still in a box. Speculation was it was a warranty repair.

Looks nice, I think I’ve seen those in person , isn’t it super hard plastic?

Negative. The wheel is the exact same material as original. The poor quality steering wheel sold by our board sponsor is a hard vinyl with incorrect texture, size and material.

Very nice, TAKerry. The repro utilizes a special process painted spokes, but the finish and coloring is authentic to the original anodized.

I am pleased with it-much more than the first one.

BTW, I have a correct lighter from my '77 that is in 7.5 out of 10 condition. It's yours for the cost of shipping.

Yea, I had a "driver" wheel that had nasty looking spokes. I shot gold on it for the meantime and it didn't look even close to right without the grain in the metal.

The original owner installed the ceramic coated headers a few years back. They are good ones, because zero leaks.

I still need to dive into the booster! I helped a board member install one on his 1973 T/A, so I have so practice.

I installed the repro black welting from board member wizard61. What a great product. The sheen and color is exact, and it is super elastic. I attached to the flair using 3M weatherstripping cement.

It goes a whole lot easier/faster.....if you remove the LF fender.....Less blood...and far less cursing....

Ratcheting box end...is your friend...
