Which line is the inlet and which is the oultlet,related to top and bottom connections. I have a 1967 maintanence manual that shows every part of the trans but doesn't adress the cooling lines. This site is a great sourrce of info.

The lower line sends fluid to the cooler from the converter, the upper line brings the cooled fluid back to the trans.

B-MAN is right. The same goes for all GM's except the 200/200-4R.
